Smial: was a Hobbit-hole, of the traditional sort.

Welcome to my digital smial! I started this blog because I thought it might be fun to recap some of the little adventures and experience my family and I have through out the year. You will find many different posts containing homeschooling (classical and Charlotte Mason), recipes, gardening, chickens and little tid-bits about life. Also, there might be plenty of talk about coffee. If not, then you can guarantee I will have coffee in hand when writing a post and also eating my breakfast, second breakfast or elevenses. 

Disclamer: I am not a Hobbit nor live in a Hobbit hole. I just find the thought of their homes quite beautiful. Also, the fact they get to have seven meals a day.
